Creative Practice as Research

The included lecture entitled "From Practitioner to Practitioner-Researcher" by Prof. Robert Nelson discusses some issues relevant to my PhD in Dance on Screen, especially with regards to the practice component of my research which involved the making of Gaia – Mysterious Rhythms, and the analysis of the creative practice, its aims and results as an academic research. My PhD is based on a programme of research in which the creative work (film) functions as a reference, and is a significant part of the intellectual enquiry. 
The creative work is submitted together with a thesis.
